Looking forward to a weekend of racing with no weather questions.
Not much track time for the Nationwide Series this weekend, so not too high on any plays this week.
Match-Ups (all lines from thegreek)
1.00 unit Tony Stewart (-125) over Kyle Busch
Going against Busch again and its been working for me lately. There is always a chance of a mistake by aggresion on his part.
This 20 car has two wins with Stewart at the wheel and has led the most laps in three of six races this year(twice with Busch), but also has three finishes of 24th or worse(one each with Stewart, Busch and Hamlin).
1.00 unit Brad Keselowski (+115) over David Ragan
Impressed with both of these young guys this year. But Keselowski and JR Motorsports seem to have found something lately, 4th, 4th and 6th the last three races. Think they have some confidence going and add that to a 6th place finish here last time out and I'm looking for a Top 10 maybe a Top 5 today.
1.00 unit Kasey Kahne (-125) over Bobby Labonte
Kahne has had a very good start on the Cup side and after coming out of the gate slow has come up with a 2nd and 9th place finishes his last two Saturday starts.
Actually disappointed in Labonte's four races in the RCR 21(29th, 5th. 34th and 15th). In saying that he will probably have a great run today.
1.00 unit David Stremme (-105) over Robby Gordon
Still don't know what happened between Mike Bliss and Fitz Racing. Things seems to be improving and going well with that team (11th, 5th and 7th last three), but know Bliss is with the Phoenix Racing #1. Robby Gordon takes the place of Bliss at least for this week.
Stremme has looked good in the 64 driving for Rusty Wallace. He was not suppose to drive every race but he has done so well they have left him in the car to this point. A 6th, 9th and 5th in three of the last four races and if he can score another Top 10 I think he has a good chance to beat the 22.
Outrights
0.50 unit Kevin Harvick (8 to 1) (@sportsbook.com)
Taking a chance with Harvick here. He wants so badly to win a race in his own car (KHI). Has done very well so far and is right at the door of Victory Lane (7th, 2nd, 4th and 3rd last four races). His recent history at Texas is another positive (1st, 11th, 1st, 8th and 1st) albeit for the most part in RCR equipment.
0.25 David Reutimann (12 to 1) (@sportsbook.com)
I think he will get a win sometime this year and this the type of track he does best on.
Good luck to everybody.
